These are the terms on which we provide cleaning services to you. Please read them carefully — by booking a clean with AV Cleaning Solution you accept these terms.
1. Bookings and quotes
Quotes are based on the information you provide to us. If, on arrival, the property is significantly larger or in a noticeably different condition to what was described, we may need to revise the quote — and we'll always agree any change with you first.
2. Pricing and payment
Pricing is bespoke and shared with you in writing (typically via WhatsApp or email). Payment is due on the day of the clean unless otherwise agreed. We accept bank transfer and card payment.
3. Access
You're responsible for providing safe, lawful access to the property at the agreed time. If we're unable to access the property and weren't notified at least 24 hours in advance, we reserve the right to charge a callout fee equal to 50% of the quoted clean.
4. Cancellations and changes
- More than 48 hours' notice — no charge.
- Between 24 and 48 hours' notice — 25% of the quoted price.
- Less than 24 hours' notice — 50% of the quoted price.
We understand life happens. If something genuinely unavoidable comes up, talk to us — we'll always try to be reasonable.
5. Our promise
We aim to deliver every clean to a high standard. If something's not right, please let us know within 24 hours and we'll come back and put it right at no extra charge.
6. Insurance
We hold public liability insurance for accidental damage. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our team, please notify us within 24 hours of the clean so the claim can be properly assessed.
7. Items we don't move or clean
For everyone's safety, we don't move heavy furniture, climb above shoulder height without proper equipment, or handle biohazardous waste. If a specialist clean is needed (mould remediation, fire/flood damage, etc.) we'll point you in the right direction.
8. Keys and security
If you entrust us with a key, it's held securely and labelled only with a code, never an address. We're fully insured and DBS-checked.
9. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any single clean is limited to the price of that clean, except where the law says otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
